A Chassis AMR is a low-profile autonomous platform that drives beneath standard warehouse carts and trolleys, coupling via a lifting pin or magnetic top-plate. Once docked, it carries the cart autonomously to any destination programmed in the Fleet Management System — eliminating manual pushing labour entirely.
Unlike an LMR which uses proprietary pods, a Chassis AMR works with your existing cart inventory. This makes it ideal for hybrid facilities where some zones are manual and others are automated — you simply add robots where labour is the bottleneck and keep carts the same.
Three operating modes are supported: Autonomous dispatch (WMS assigns cart moves), Person-following (operator leads, robot follows carrying the load), and Point-to-point call button (operators press a physical call button to summon a robot to a station).
No need to replace your cart fleet. Universal coupling plate adapts to carts from 400–1,200 mm wheelbase. Retrofit in minutes per cart.
Operator walks ahead; robot follows at 0.8 m distance using 3D depth sensor tracking — hands-free transport in pick-and-pack lines without WMS programming.
Full autonomous navigation without floor markings or reflectors. Maps the warehouse with SLAM LiDAR on first pass; re-maps dynamically as layouts change.
3-zone LiDAR safety (warn / slow / stop) adapts dynamically to speed and load. E-stop on all 4 sides. ISO 3691-4 / PL-d certified for mixed human zones.
FMS coordinates up to 200 robots in the same zone via 5 GHz Wi-Fi mesh. Deadlock prevention and priority queuing keep throughput smooth at peak loads.
Auto-docks at any available charging pad during task gaps. Battery management algorithm extends cell life and keeps fleet at >95% availability during 3-shift operations.
